Cette semaine, les news de CMR sont consacrées aux Country Music Awards 2009. C'était vraiment la nuit de la country à Nashville!! Toutes les plus grandes stars se sont succédées sur scène lors du plus gros évènement country de l'année... Carrie Underwood, qui a changé 9 fois de robe, présentait la cérémonie avec Brad Paisley qui a gagné 2 awards. Il a pris le temps de dire à Country Music Road ce que représente de gagner un Country Music Award. Pas d'award en 2009 pour Carrie Underwood, mais parions que son album "Play On" sorti au début du mois, lui en apportera l'année prochaine ! D'ailleurs, "Cowboy Casanova" est devenu cette semaine le #1 du Top Country et son album est entré directement en #1 du Top2OO albums du Billboard !! Et clin d'oeil à Rosanne Cash qui est "Triple Play" cette semaine dans l'émission...

CMA 2009 - Les résultats

Voici les résultats complets de la 43ème édition des Country Music Awards. C'était ce mercredi soir.
La grande gagnante est Taylor Swift avec 4 awards; et 2 pour Brad Paisley et Lady Antebellum. C'est la 3ème année consécutive que Brad Paisley est nommé chanteur de l'année. Par contre, en recevant la récompense du meilleur groupe de l'année, Lady Antebellum empêchent les Rascal Flatts de l'avoir pour une 6ème année consécutive !
